Danse Chelsea Dance Youth Company:
Danse Chelsea Dance is a vibrant dance school located in Chelsea, Quebec, dedicated to bringing together people of all ages, abilities, and aspirations to explore the joy of dance in an inclusive and welcoming environment. Our classes range from Creative Dance to Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz, and Parent & Child classes.
In Winter 2025, we proudly launched the Danse Chelsea Youth Company, a performance-focused program for dancers ages 9 and up. This company is designed for passionate young dancers who want to deepen their training, perform regularly, and engage meaningfully with the art of dance. It offers a space for committed students to be challenged and inspired, while forming lasting friendships and celebrating the joy of movement.
The Danse Chelsea Youth Company is thrilled to perform at La Fab sur Mill’s Open House Days, part of the celebrations for Chelsea’s 150th and La Fab sur Mill’s 150th anniversaries.

Chelsea Youth Choir:
The Chelsea Youth Choir (soon to be Riversong Youth Choir) is a bilingual community choir based in Chelsea, Quebec. We have been welcoming young singers ages 6-15 into a joyful, community-oriented singing experience since 2011!
The choir is divided into three age groups, allowing each to rehearse and perform both separately and together. We also love to collaborate with both professional and amateur adult musicians, including Ian Tamblyn, our own “Dad’s Choir”, Chris MacLean’s Song Kitchen Choir, and more!
CYC rehearses and performs at La Fab sur Mill, where it has been proud to contribute to the building’s evolution into a vibrant cultural hub. The choir plays an active role in the region’s artistic life, performing regularly at local events like River Fest, Remembrance Day ceremonies, the Chelsea Market, and Magical Christmas in Chelsea.
The Chelsea Youth Choir, joined by Ian Tamblyn, is delighted to be a part of La Fab’s celebration of the 150th anniversary of both our community of Chelsea, and the wonderful building that is now known as La Fab sur Mill.

Without the use of spoken word, Joël and Philippe craft compelling narratives that engage the imagination and invite audiences to see the world through a different lens. Their performances are an exploration of play, spontaneity, emotion, and imagination.

Ballet du Village
Ballet du Village a ballet-focused dance school operating in the rural community centre of Rupert, Quebec. Former ballet professional Emily Rudenberg has been teaching dance in the local area since 2010, and looks forward to many more years of watching young dancers grow up in her classes. These students take lessons 1-2 times per week and work on ballet technique, expression, and moving in unison through choreography. Pride in our art form, dedication to training and support for our classmates were major themes this year. Ballet du Village is proud to present three pieces from their upcoming show “A Celebration of Springtime and Friendship” at this event.
